Ignorance continue to manifest itself

As I so often find myself, sitting and reflecting over things that my brain in its vast array of  articles of remembrance in its library pull out for me to review. One such item took place on the 15th of August, I took my 2003 Dodge Dakota to a dealership in Statesboro, GA., I suspected that it had a blown head gasket and after much testing, the dealership shop manager moved to that decision as well, I was told the vehicle would probably be ready toward the end of the day of the 23rd, but surely by the morning of the 24th. I checked back with the dealership on the 24th around 1110 hrs.. The vehicle was not ready and from the look of things that were disconnected from the motor compartment, it looked as though it would be a few hours to say the least before I would be able to climb into those leather seats and run her on my much pressing business needs. On the 25th, at approximately 1121 hrs. I received a call on my cell phone from one of the ladies that log the vehicles in and log them out once work has been performed, she said to me that my vehicle was being put together and that I could pick up my truck later that day (the 25th). I arrived at the dealership around 1615 hrs.,( that's a full 4 hrs. after I had received  a call from the service desk of the dealership) and to my dismay, the vehicle looked exactly as it did on the 24th, now, why in all of hell did someone tell that nice young lady to call me and to inform me that my vehicle would be ready? The service manager is nothing but an incompetent jackass, he wasted my time of 1 hour and 15 minutes (round trip) running to the dealership only to see that my conveyance weren't ready. I have come to realize, although I frown upon it with everything in my being, that most people are without any common sense and to tell you the truth, they are woefully ignorant.

Where all else fail; ignorance abound

It is absolutely astounding in listening to some of the pundits and politicians, not to mention the people that I overhear in their casual conversations on daily encountering. Ignorant, in its simplest form mean: uninformed or unaware, whether in generality or to a specific thing. One can never assume anything and likewise, one must be attentive to everything. In the season of campaigning for the Oval office, there are no less than eight vying for that seat from the Republican side of the political cart, just recently, there was one that ended his quest for that seat, while another came on board. Presently, one of the front runners is an individual that has spoken such ludicrous language that you just have to wonder "who are her supporters and why they haven't taken in account the things she has said in the past to know that she is not qualified to sit in that place where hard decisions emerges." In the past, there has been some decisions that came from that place (the Oval office) that has caused many to see an untimely death. Some, if not all that has occupied the Oval office certainly had George Washington beat, for it has been quoted by Mark Twain: "George Washington, as a boy, was ignorant of the commonest accomplishments of youth. He could not lie." And of course the thread is, "George Washington as a boy, could not lie," which gives me to ponder, perhaps, he learned to lie as a man. There is no liar so great as a lawyer, politician, banker or a used car dealer. I think ignorant must be akin to denial, for being in the state of either one, you are not likely to change. It has been said, ignorance is blissful, and so, I ask the question: If ignorant is blissful; then why am I witnessing so much misery at the hands of the perpetrators? One of the most derisory things I have heard  lately, was said by the President, he said he was beginning a bus tour to hear from the people, Mr. President, with your vast array of guru's, do you infer that you have not heard the people cry out for jobs? This is the type of nonsense that makes me want to run and hide from this type of sheer ignorance. Ignorant can be compared to a disease that not only inflicts the one that has it but all those that come in contact with it, whether direct or indirectly. Ignorance is like Kudzu, it never stay as it was, it constantly seeks out more territory to cover, whether by deceit or outright shenanigan.
